Okay, I'll start! I'm the professor of BDC 979 Radio Production at Ryerson University. I worked in campus/community radio for ten years and have been a freelance producer and journalist at CBC Radio.
I'm 35 years old, I'm a vegetarian, I love to travel (Melbourne is an *awesome* city!), and in my spare time I like to work out, play volleyball, sew clothes that I rarely end up wearing, and go to films and art galleries. I spent 10 months living in Sydney, Australia in 2004.
I'm Karen Brow and I am a 2nd year RTAer. I am not only into audio, I also like the TV side of things and hopefully before I am done I will know what I want to do.
I am 24 years old and I am a Toronto transplant from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (try spelling that when you're drunk). I have done a lot of travelling in Europe as well as Israel. I am trying for an exchange to Australia and hopefully I'll get it. I look forward to hearing the aussie accents on the RMIT episodes. With that said there is only one way to end this post: Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!
I'm Danielle Jones and I'm a 2nd Year RTAer. I am a serious audio freak and just love mixing and editing.
I'm 19 and just love music and concerts. If it didn't hurt my wallet I would pretty much go to every concert I could. My passion is making mixed tapes. By that I mean making mixes (on CD, clearly not cassettes as well, they've simply died) for friends and family where every song just adds to the previous one making it one cohesive and interesting blend of music. I also love making mixes to just listen to in the background while reading a book.
I don't really know what else to say aside from this project sounds like a lot of fun.
Good luck to everyone.
Hey Angie,
If you're into metal, you definitely should check out a Canadian documentary called "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey". It just came out in the theatres here so it'll probably be a while before it makes it to a screen in Melbourne, but you'd probably really like it. I loved it, and I'm not even that much of a metal fan. Ok, that's my shameless plug for Canadian cinema. ;-)
Lori
Aaron/Brodzilla,
I dunno, refusing a metal movie on the first date is grounds for canceling any future dates in my books!
