How to describe group 2? Perhaps we should discuss our interests outside of Radio Production. Mark likes bikes and old school hip hop. Kristen likes Winnipeg and Nuendo v3.0. Raina likes doodling and having a secret identity on her video blog. Finally, Marissa likes making jokes and being steroetypically Canadian. We plan on bouncing together a great episode and can't wait to hear yours!
haha clearly Marissa is funny. I dont like Nuendo or Winnipeg. She also doesnt know how to spell my name...
So what do I actually like outside of radio production? I love music and anything to do with it. I want to do audio post production and sound design after graduation. I am from winnipeg but I try really hard not to go back. i also enjoy singing out of tune really loudly, dancing like an idiot, going to concerts, and drinking milk. I also am the stereotypical Canadian, I say "eh" more times in a day than i can even count. I look forward to the bouncing story and getting to know you all better! hope all is well
cheers.
How'd I end up in a picture with this motley crew??
Oh well, I guess I might as well introduce myself anyway ;).
I'm Meaghan, the "labbie" (lab assistant) for this course. I graduated from RTA here at Ryerson in 2006 and have been working here ever since, trying to help mold these young minds, but mostly just handing out fines when they break stuff. I went through the audio stream of RTA, focusing mostly on music production, although I've always had a [not so] secret love for audio post production, particularly foley work. Plus, foley's just a fun word. Say it a few times. You'll see what I mean.
